Book of texts and photographs taken with a mobile phone, cardboard cover laminated with sandpaper, 200 pages

This edition brings together texts and photographs produced during three months of seasonal work as a waiter in a high-end hotel in the United Kingdom.

Through images taken on a mobile phone and fragments of text, the project observes the everyday lives of young seasonal workers: working hours, moments of waiting, relationships between colleagues, as well as life in the “staff accommodations.” The book explores the forms of life that develop on the margins of the hotel, in spaces reserved for staff, between full-time work, exhaustion, and social interaction. A temporary collective life, shaped by the constraints of seasonal employment and by a daily routine organized around it.
